Veterans Care association, delivers from 6 to 8 residential wellbeing programs every year for up to 30 participants each . The Programs are called Timor Awakening , and cover al aspects of holistic health and wellebing . please look up our website www.timor awakening .com for details. We have run 40 programs with 1200 participants .
Ar the end of each year we faciliatte a 5 day retreat for professional development and nurtire of our 50 + volunteers and staff , most of whom are ADTP qualified or student Wellbeing officers, who ALREADY have completed our own 5 day mentor raining program. The draft program for the retreat is `enclosed. while some formal directed sessions are programmed , much of the time is given to intentional focus small group activity raised by the Wellbeing offrs themselves, as well as recreational activity to revitalise them from compassion fatigue and burnout experienced during the year
